 My
latest book, In Harm’s Way, is published by Arrow books (an imprint of Random House). It’s the true-life story of Sean Hogan. Sean had an incredible childhood; brought up by alcoholic parents in the worst slums in Dublin, he ended-up locked away by the state at the age of just eight years old, incarcerated in Ireland’s notorious Artane Industrial School. Here he was brutally beaten and sexually abused before being put into a care home for those with mental disabilities, despite there being nothing wrong with him. After a spell in prison, Sean finally made it to the U.K. where he began a new life and found hope, peace and love.
Although I was the ghostwriter of this book, my name appears on the cover and I am proud to have worked with Sean to bring his extraordinary and moving story to print and to be acknowledged as its author.
Sean and his wife actually found me through this web site. They sent me a tentative email outlining their story and less than two years
